Otherwise, continue on this page for a few questions and answers
followed by an alphabetical, click-on list of Charlotte's titles, with
links to many pages about particular books. |
 |
Charlotte has published more than 70 books for young readers. Some have
been reissued two and three times with different illustrations, and, because she
continues to write, more are coming out all the time. A click-on list of
titles, with links, is at the end of this long page.
This Quiet Lady,
its bright, flower-filled cover pictured to left, is one of Charlotte's many
books, some of which have links on this site). Scroll down to find more. |
| What
kinds? |
| Some are picture books, on
many different subjects and in many different moods, for young readers. Others
are collections of short poems, again for young readers. Charlotte has also
written three textbooks, and edited two anthologies of short stories, each story
with an introduction by her, for young adults. Click here for a list of CZ's
books by subject ... and a little about her views on those subjects. |
| An alphabetical, click-on list of titles |
| Charlotte's books are listed alphabetically, by title, below. Gradually, a page on
each book will be put up, so you can learn about the books themselves and, in
some cases, the stories behind the books --- how Charlotte came to write them,
why they were dedicated to a particular person, and so on. Over time, we will
add reviews of the titles, ideas about how different teachers have used them in
the classroom, and even tell you something about those books which are out of
print. In some cases, you'll be able to see samples of the originals and the reissued, re-illustrated reprints. We will also
provide links so you can purchase those books which are still available. |
| Please be patient --- this will take awhile, and we'll probably put up a
few books at a time. Check What's New
for
updates. |
